Referee Promotion Seminar
Northumberland FA Promotion Scheme 19/20
All referees wishing to be considered for promotion during the 19/20 season can now apply to join the promotion scheme by clicking the below link and completing the online application form followed by online payment of non-refundable fee of £30.
The deadline for application and payment is 4:30pm on Wednesday 13th February 2019. Any attempt to join the promotion scheme after this deadline will not be accepted.
The Northumberland FA promotion seminar will be held on Wednesday 13th February 2019 at Northumberland FA at 7pm.
All promotion candidates will undergo a Laws of The Game exam on the evening where upon successful completion all candidates will then be required to complete a fitness assessment in line with their application. Candidates in their application must highlight their first and second preference of dates for attendance at the fitness assessment.
10th March - Churchill Playing Fields. 8am.
17th March - Churchill Playing Fields. 8am.
24th March - Churchill Playing Fields. 8am.
31st March - Churchill Playing Fields. 8am.

Must be 16 years or older.
Must complete a minimum 2400m within 12 minutes as well as 2 x 50m sprints under 8 seconds.
Attend promotion seminar.
Must have officiated for a minimum of one season.
Pass a multiple choice Laws of The Game exam.
Must be officiating in open age 11-a-side football.
Referee a minimum of 15 matches during the promotion season (1st March 2019 to 29th February 2020 - TBC pending FA Review).
To have been observed at least 3 times and be in the top 50% of club marks in leagues you officiate in (NFA Referee’s Committee to decide).
You must be prepared to officiate in County Cup fixtures.
You must ensure you close all unavailable dates.
Keep your google sheet up to date with all games.

Must be 16 years or older.

Must be 16 years or older.
Must complete a minimum 2600m within 12 minutes as well as 2 x 50m sprints under 8 seconds.
To pass an FA recognised fitness assessment.
To referee a minimum of 20 games during the promotion season.
To be an assistant referee on a minimum of 10 matches at senior level during the promotion season (northern alliance premier division, northern league division 2 and wearside league)
To have been assessed on at least 5 occasions.
Complete a Laws of The Game examination.
Must attend a Regional In Service Nomination Training Session which is delivered by The FA.
You must be prepared to officiate in county cup fixtures.
You must ensure you close all unavailable dates.
