Walking Football Referee Course

Walking Football Referee Course

Worcestershire FA are glad to offer spaces for the Walking FA Referee’s course, taking place at our County Sports Ground in February. By completing the course, learners will become Qualified Walking FA Referees. We are also pleased to offer this course free of charge, a unique opportunity for all our learners. The course will cover WFA Laws of the Game, video footage, practical work, signals and an exam.

Before booking, please note that this course is delivered solely by the Walking Football Association not the Football Association. Therefore, learners will become certified only with the Walking FA rather than the FA as these two organisations lie separate to one and other. This means you will not be certified to officiate the ‘mainstream’ game such as mini soccer, 11v11 or any other FA sanctioned competitions unless otherwise stated by your County FA.

Date/Time: Saturday 23rd March 2024, 11:30am – 5:30pm

Location: County Sports Ground, Claines Lane, WR3 7SS

Facilities: Classroom/Training Room and Half of 3G Pitch (learners must wear the correct footwear being plastic moulded studs/Firm Ground boots to enter the 3G. No metal studs, flat soles, blades or astro turf trainers will be permitted. We are able lend spare boots but sizing is limited)

Cost for Learners: Free
