Course Information:

• Minimum Age: 16
• Course Duration: 6 hours
• Course Prerequisites: None
• Course aims and objectives:
  • Have an understanding of the fundamentals of Futsal
  • Have an understanding of the techniques and basic principles of Futsal
  • Have an appreciation of the Laws of the Game of Futsal

Course Content:

Theory: The course will introduce some key aspects in the following:

• What is Futsal?
• Differences between 5 a-side and Futsal

Practical: Practical elements of the course will provide an introduction to:

• Game play
• The techniques of Futsal
• Game of Futsal
• Principles of play
• Rules of Futsal

Practical Involvement: Candidates will be encouraged to participate practically to maximise their opportunities for learning. (This however will not prevent successful completion of the award)

Assessment: Candidates will be formatively assessed throughout the course.

Refresher: No refresher required.
