Coaches' CPD - Play Phase Roadshow
To help our young children The FA have developed Play Phase for children aged 4-6 as England Football’s Early Years philosophy. Play Phase is about encouraging children in skills and learning that will eventually be useful not just in football, but in life. It makes learning fun, playful and creative, for lifelong benefits.
Children like to explore, investigate and take risks. Play Phase encourages young players to keep trying until they succeed, and to respond positively when things don’t go as planned. We will focus on the fun, the child and the football.
Hosted by Pete Sturgess, FA Technical Lead for 5-11 year olds, this session delve into the Play Phase philosophy and explore the key principles for the development of 4-6 year-olds in their footballing journey.
