The Surrey County FA are pleased to offer a new FA Charter Standard In service course for Charter Standard clubs aimed at club coaches.

The course will cover following areas:-

  • The different types of injuries
  • Prevention & care of injuries
  • Warm up & nutrition
  • What Ashtead hospital can offer

The workshop is being delivered by Steve Allen:

Steve qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy from Brunel University.

Steve specialises in sports injuries and has worked in the world of professional football for over 25 years, first as a professional player before becoming a physio.

Steve has been physio at, Crystal Palace FC, West Ham United, Charlton Athletic FC and he is now currently the first team physiotherapist at Portsmouth FC.

Qualifications:

  • BSc Sports Science
  • BSc Physiotherapy
  • FA Association diploma in Treatment and Management
  • Member of CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy)
  • Member of HPC (Health Professions Council)
  • AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists)
