Suffolk FA Coaches Academy Application - 2019/20

Suffolk Coaches Academy Application 2019/20 season

The application window is now open for the Suffolk Coaches Academy for the 2019/20 season

The Academy’s aims are to support coaches in the county by providing personalised support to aid their development, whilst establishing networking opportunities with other pro-active coaches

Taking feedback on-board from current and previous members, coupled with the strong intention to make this a prestigious nationally acclaimed programme, we are delighted to share with you an insight into some of the exciting new developments incorporated into the programme:

• Regional Associations - to make events more accessible and geographically specific, we will be creating 3 regions for the new season, these being:

North (encompassing Lowestoft, Aldeburgh & Eye)

South (encompassing Woodbridge, Felixstowe, Ipswich & Hadleigh)

West (encompassing Sudbury, Haverhill, Newmarket & Bury St Edmunds), these will allow for local events that are tailored to the academy members in that area

These will be smaller in number than previously and will be capped to provide a more bespoke and exclusive experience for its members

• Discounted offers exclusive to Suffolk Coaches Academy members

• Full utilisation of Hive for sharing electronic content and stimulate coach interaction

• Events that cover topics such as Mental Health and People Management

• Accessibility to player-analysis at Professional football matches

• Individual / Group support from FA Coach Mentors

Criteria for coaches applying:

  • Minimum Level 1 FA coaching qualification
  • Must be an active coach, either coaching or living in Suffolk
  • Be a member of the FA Licensed Coaches Club

** There will be a requirement to attend a minimum of 70% of your regional events over the course of the season **
