To date, over 375,000 people have been through an FA Learning Safeguarding Children Education Programme, therefore helping to create a more fun and safe environment for children in football. This interactive Online Course will allow you to renew your Safeguarding Certificate from your computer. This will extend the validity of your face-to-face safeguarding course for another three years.
Course Information:
- Course Duration: 2 hours

- Who is it for: For anyone who has completed an FA Safeguarding Children Course. It is recommended that everyone renews this course every three years. A Current FA Learning Safeguarding Course or Safeguarding recertification course is mandatory for all FA Learning Tutors, FACA members and members of the new FA Licensed Coaches Club.
- Course aims and objectives: The course is designed to raise awareness of best practice in safeguarding children in football and to ensure that everyone recognises their moral and legal responsibilities when working with children. It supports participants to create fun, safe and positive football environments, ensuring that people know how to report a concern about a child's welfare. The course supports The FA's strategic goals to raise standards across the game and demonstrates our capacity to be trusted to lead. It also updates participants on changes in the law and best practice guidelines.
Course Content:
The course consists of 5 modules, which you can do in your own time. You can come back to the course and complete it at a later date if you do not have time.
Over the past few years there have been some significant changes, which are covered in this course including:
