Developing on the Pitch

Join us at the upcoming Coaches Corner CPD Event, where you'll have the opportunity to learn from Vicky Fisher, an FA Regional Coach Developer with a wealth of experience that she's eager to share with coaches.

Prepare to learn both on and off the field in this engaging session, where we will be joined by the Banwell U11s team. Vicky will immerse you in the art of 'planning,' helping you master the art of structuring your sessions, and she'll unveil secrets to 'designing practices' that will maximise your players' development. Plus, you'll gain invaluable insights into essential 'coaching skills' that you can take into the 23/24 season.

You'll delve deep into the 'principles of play' in football, gaining a sneak peek into what's in store when you advance to your UEFA C qualification. This CPD is also a brilliant recap for coaches who are already Level 2/UEFA C qualified and want to gain some new session ideas for the upcoming season.

During the event, you will:

🌟 Identify your coaching strengths and areas of development using the FA Coaching Skills guidance (SELF).

🌟 Gain a deeper understanding of what the beautiful game looks like for your players, taking into account format and principles of play (GAME).

🌟 Master the art of planning, delivering, and progressing practices using the STEP principle, a powerful resource that fosters the development of skillful players (COACH).

Due to popularity, there is limited places available on this event - please reserve your place ASAP.
