Coaching Fundamentals (England DNA)
The Oxfordshire FA Coaches Conference returns for 2018 and this season's event will be centred around the 12 coaching fundamentals highlighted in the England DNA principle. We will show you how you can incorporate them into your sessions and workshops will include content specific to the Foundation and Development Phases.
We are pleased to welcome 5 guest tutors and will be announcing them periodically through the season. Alongside these tutors the conference will also welcome many familiar faces from around the County.

Venue: The Oxford Academy, Sandy Lane West, Littlemore, Oxford, OX4 6JZ
Time: 10:00-17:00 (please arrive between 09:30 and 09:45)
No. of accredited CPD Hours (FA L1, L2 & L3 Coaches): 4 hours

What's included?
In addition to some great content within the workshops we will also be providing all attendees with food & refreshments throughout the day. We will also be providing you all with a conference booklet, coaches clipboard and a FA USB which will have all of the content, including presentations to take home with you. We have also teamed up with our partners ILites and Discount Football Kits who have kindly provided us with some great discounts and equipment for the event for everyone that attends.
FALCC Accreditation Level/s: FA Level 1,2 & 3 (4 Hours)
Anyone can attend this FALCC event, but only Level 1,2 & 3 coaches will gain CPD Hours for their FALCC Membership. These FALCC hours will count towards the 2017-2018 season only (1st August 2017-31st July 2018).

Tutors and Sessions
Peter Sturgess (FA Foundation Phase Lead)
We are excited to announce Peter Sturgess as our first confirmed tutor who is the FA’s Foundation Phase lead. He has worked for the FA since 2005 but from 2008-2015 was the coach of the England futsal team and had an integral part in the shaping of the new FA Level 3 Course.
Ben Bartlett (FA Senior Youth Coach Educator)
Previously Ben has worked as regional coach development manager in the East of England and with Chelsea Ladies as Director of Coaching. He is well respected in the coaching family and has had articles published in The FA’s Boot Room magazine and Soccer Coaching International Journal. He has also delivered at many FA National and South East Regional Conferences.
