Developing Creative Players
The Oxfordshire FA Coaches Conference returns for 2017 to The Oxford Academy School with a look at how coaches can develop their players' creativity so they can make quick decisions and play with flair.
We are delighted to have some highly talented and recognised tutors this year with the tutors and session details below.

Kelvin Alexis and Chris Hackett
OXFORD UNITED Under 15 Academy Coaches
Kelvin is a UEFA A and FA Youth Award Coach who has been at Oxford United for 17 years as a coach. During that time he has coached from Under 9-16s and has a wealth of experience. During his playing time Kelvin played for Oxford United as a youth player and a semi-professional for Oxford City and Abingdon Town.
Chris is a former Oxford United Academy graduate with over 100 appearances for the first team, as well as playing for Millwall and Northampton. As a UEFA B coach with FA Youth Award Module 3, Chris coaches alongside Kelvin with this season’s Under 15s.
Kelvin and Chris’ session will look at a whole-part-whole session with a focus on disguising passes, receiving in pockets of space, breaking lines and 1v1 dribbling skills.
Huw Jennings
Fulham FC Academy Director
Huw is responsible for managing the Fulham FC academy up to Under 21s. The academy is one of the few in the country to be awarded Category 1 status in the EPPP guidelines. Huw has a rich history of being involved in youth football in professional environments, having worked with the Premier League as a Youth Development Manager, and Southampton FC as Academy Director.
Huw's session will look at playing out from the back using a midfield rotation. Coaches will be required to take part in the practical delivery of this session.

FALCC Accreditation Level/s: 1&2 (HOURS 4)
Anyone can attend this FALCC event, but only Level 1 and 2 coaches will gain CPD Hours for their FALCC Membership. These FALCC hours will count towards the 2016-2017 season only (1st August 2016-31st July 2017).
