Using technology in grassroots football

Do you want to know what technology is available to help you as a coach?
Do you want to learn how to use technology that will help you develop yourself and your players?

This two hour theory/observational workshop will look at what technology is available to use within sporting environments and help you develop your players and yourself, as a coach. It is no secret that technology is an integral part of today’s world, so you will have the opportunity to look at how you can embrace this within football and engage your players in sessions and on match days. Coaches will also have the chance to see technology being used in a session led  by County Coach Developer, Mark Haining with an under 11/12 team. 

The session will:

• Provide an introduction into the technology that is available to coaches
• Give coaches an opportunity to observe a session with technology being used
• Knowledge and experience in player profiling
• Give coaches chance to meet like minded people, share ideas and ask questions

What you will Need:

• Note taking materials (Recommended)
  
• Device that can connect to wifi (Preferable)
• Suitable clothing and footwear for inside theory and outside observation on pitch
