Workshop Content:

Do you want to make your match day less stressful?
Do you want to understand how to engage your players on a match day effectively?

This two hour theory/observation workshop will look at how coaches can ensure that a match day is less stressful for them, and how they can maximise their time to engage players and prepare players. Also, it will look to encourage coaches to look at their philosophy and whether this is evident on a match day. Coaches will have the chance to observe an under 10/11 team who will be coached by our County Coach Developer, Mark Haining who will demonstrate games and strategies that will create a positive and inclusive environment on match days to get the most out of their players.

 The session will:

  • Information on how to create a positive and engaging environment on match day
  • Knowledge on how to implement the four corner model within a match day environment
  • Ideas on what warm ups to complete prior to a match that is suitable for your age group
  • Give coaches a chance to meet like minded people, share ideas and ask questions

What you will Need:

  • Note taking materials (Recommended)
  • Suitable clothing and footwear for inside theory and outside observation on grass pitch
