Coach CPD event: Structuring a futsal practice
Cambridge United Futsal Club’s Head Coach Luis Mendonca will deliver a FREE coaching session on Sunday 23 June in Kettering.
Luis will lead coaches through a series of activities & session ideas that can be adapted to grassroots football / futsal sessions to help develop young players.
The session will introduce the basic principles of futsal - attacking, defending & transitions – progressing from 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 into the final 5v5; with a high volume of tactical and technical details, making it an ideal learning opportunity for youth coaches of any age group.

About the tutor: Luis Mendonca is Head Coach of Cambridge United Futsal Club, runners-up in the men’s FA Futsal Cup 2019. Luis is an FA affiliate tutor and coach mentor. He brings a wealth of experience of futsal and led CUFC to a 9th place finish in the FA Futsal Super League 2018/19.
