Club & League Welfare Officer CPD Session

Club & League Welfare Officer CPD Session – 10th October 2019

Summary

London FA are pleased to announce they will be holding the 1st Club and League Welfare Officer CPD session of the 2019/20 season on 10th October at Pimlico Academy.

Through feedback from last season’s sessions, we have put together a session we believe will benefit you as you begin the new season.

The FA have integrated a new DBS system with the Whole Game System which all clubs and leagues will be required to use to complete CRC checks. We will be showing you what the new system will look like and how this will change from the current process.

The second part of the session will involve scenario-based workshops where we will discuss best and poor practice. This will give CWO/LWOs an opportunity to listen and converse amongst peers whilst gaining insight in to dealing with concerns.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the evening.

Please note very light refreshments will be provided.

Date/time: 10th October 2019 (6.30pm to 9pm)

Venue:Pimlico Academy, Lupus St, Pimlico, London SW1V 3AT
