in Coaching Football (Block 1) - How we Coach

30 Hours over 4 days.

Course Pre-requisites to registration and certification:
Prior to registration for the qualification, learners are
required to:

be
at least 16 years of age;

Have
attended The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football course, and hold the 1st4sport
Level 1 Award in Coaching Football qualification (Learners are no longer eligible to begin at
Level 2);

Prior
to certification for the qualification, learners are required to: hold as a
minimum a current FA Emergency Aid Certificate;

Hold
a current completion certificate for The FA Workshop Safeguarding Children in
Football (Alternative arrangements are available for learners under the age of
18 years of age).

Actively
coaching in a Club (This course requires
support visits during the course by your coach educator. To pass this
qualification you will need to attend all 3 blocks and be visited by your coach
educator in your club environment)
Course Aims and Objectives:
This nationally recognised qualification, awarded by 1st4sport Qualifications will allow the learner to go a journey through the How We Coach block of the FA Level 2. Block 1 will cover the following areas; Introduction and Review Level 1, Role of the Coach & Coaching Philosophy, Communication Skills (Social Corner), Helping Players Learn (Psych/Social), Motivation (Psych), Self Esteem (Psych), The Practice Spectrum (4C), Skills Development (4C/LTPD).

Level 2: Block 1 – How We Coach
D1) Tuesday 6th September 2016 (9am to 5pm) Course Introduction, England DNA,
New Block Format, Support Visit explanation, Introduction to the Coaching Journal.
D2) Wednesday 7th September (9am to 5pm) – Block 1, Day 2
D3) Thursday 8th September (9am to 5pm) – Block 1, Day 3
D4) Friday 9th September (9am to 5pm) – Block 1, Final Day
