The Workshop is aimed at referees with limited or no experience officiating Disability Football who wish to develop their ability to officiate football involving a range of disabilities and impairments.

Topics covered will include the disability football landscape, how to utilise effective communication, use of terminology, and best practice when officiating a range of disabilities and impairments. The course will include both theory and practical aspects, including the opportunity to officiate two games of differing standards and varying impairments to gain a first-hand insight of the skills needed to officiate disability football.

Once completed, referees will be equipped with the competencies and experiences to officiate disability football, and will be supported to officiate in the Lincolnshire Ability Counts League and the Lincolnshire SEN League.
