Lincolnshire FA, in partnership with the Institute of Groundsmanship, has organised a Winter Workshop for Grassroots Football Groundsmen in the County.
Following the success of last seasons Groundsman Workshops, Lincolnshire FA is now hosting two new Workshops this season that will focus on Dealing with winter weather and the associated preparation and Summer Renovations (scheduled for the 19th April 2016).
The workshop will give participants the opportunity to share excellence tips, advice and contacts in which to support their grounds work. The session will involve some indoor discussion / presentations and then some outdoor elements.
LFA continues to work in partnership with The Institute of Groundsmanship's Regional Pitch Advisor, Tom Rowley, to deliver The FA’s Pitch Improvement Programme. Tom will also be present at this workshop, providing tips and advice whilst answering any questions.

Places for the workshop will be allocated on a first come first served basis and are available to Groundsmen from Lincolnshire FA affiliated clubs. This workshop is ideal for all grassroots groundsmen in Lincolnshire who have the responsibility of maintaining and looking after their club’s pitches. If you are attending please ensure you are dressed appropriately for the outdoor session.
