The Coaching Workforce Panel
What is the Coaching Workforce Panel?
The Coaching Workforce Panel (CWP) is a new innovative idea where we would like a Panel of Coaches to help structure and build on the current and future Coach Education Programme in Leicestershire and Rutland. Our goal is to Engage and retain as many coaches as possible in Leicestershire and Rutland by offering innovative and relevant development opportunities and support through coach education and continual professional development.

- Currently Coaching.
- At least 16 years of age.
- At least an FA Level 1 Award in Coaching Football.
- Coaching within Leicestershire and Rutland.
What will the panel do?
Successful applicants for the panel will attend quarterly meetings and can:
- Represent their Club/Community.
- Shape the current courses in both frequency and location to help decipher what suits the best need of clubs, the community and the county.
- Get first insight to upcoming courses and the Coach Education programme layout throughout the year.

- Have Priority access to host CPD events at their Club.
- Have increased opportunity for development in both the meetings and by being able to book onto courses from first insight.

Why are we creating and recruiting a panel?
Our current Coach Education Programme is getting bigger and still expanding into more than we’ve known. We want to still offer and deliver an improved level of service to our Coaches with the growth of the programme and although its size the programme should remain Coach centric. In order to help us do this we need your views and input around Coach Education on the Panel to ensure everything we deliver is relevant, innovative and suits the county’s needs.
The First CWP meeting will be held on Thursday 26th October at Holmes Park, Dog and Gun Lane, LE8 6FA 18.00 start.
