We are delighted to announce the 2017 Kent FA Coaching Adult Football Conference will take place on the 13^th August 2017.

The day is open to all coaches and managers regardless of previous experience or knowledge. The conference is packed full of useful workshops delivered by leading professionals to support coaches ahead of the new season.

The conference, which will be held at K Sports, Aylesford is an ideal opportunity for those coaching and managing in adult football, and those with aspirations to do so to network with others while adding to their knowledge and experience of the game.

The day will include four exclusive workshops;

Pre-season preparation

Former Gillingham FC Academy Manager, Darren Hare will open the day with practical session where he will showcase his experience and knowledge in order to deliver an appropriate and efficient pre-season schedule to your players.

Pre-match preparation

This workshop will be delivered by former Charlton Athletic first team coach, Damian Matthew who will give an insight into how teams prepare for a weekend fixture including the implementation of a game plan and tactics in both theory and practical demonstrations.

Match Analysis

Nick Gearing is Head of Analysis at Leyton Orient FC and previously Gillingham FC. During this part of the day Nick will go through the role of a Match Analysis at a professional club; what goes on, how he collates data and feedback provided to the coaching staff.

Psychology in football

Matthew Cunliffe is a South East London based British Psychological Society (BPS) and Health and Care Professions Council. In this session Matthew will help participants to identify the types of things that may affect sport performance, such as pressure, expectations, external influences, and concentration. He will also outline some strategies to help deal with these factors.
