Thank you for your interest in becoming a Referee. This evening is designed to give all potential Referees an insight of the types of courses available, the requirement needed to complete the Course, what refereeing involves and the challenges that could be faced as a Match Official.

The Workshop is a two-hour introduction evening, where you will be guided through the refereeing experience, looking at all formats of the game and the opportunities available within the County. If you decide to begin your refereeing journey here, the Referee Course (9v9 and/or 11v11 football) will only be a few weeks away.

Following successful attendance at one of these Workshops, Individual will be able to then enrol onto a Referee Course. The links of future Referee Courses will be given after attendance at these Workshops.

We strongly recommend that Parent/Parents/Guardians of all candidates 17 years old and younger attend this Workshop, to gain a full insight and understanding of the commitment required to complete all aspects. Any accompanying adult does not need to book on the course or pay if they are not going to proceed with becoming a referee themselves.
