Play Phase Roadshow

Overview:
Play Phase is all about giving children aged four to six the best possible start. This is both in terms of their development and their first steps into football.
In this practical workshop, the legendary Pete Sturgess will support coaches in learning more about the Play Phase philosophy, will help develop your understanding of children in this age bracket and will give you ideas on how to create the best environment for them to learn through play.
A big thank you to Borehamwood Youth FC who will be providing players for the practical activity.

Are there any tasks to complete ahead of the event?
Safeguarding is of the upmost importance to Hertfordshire FA, and we encourage our coaching workforce to share this view. With that in mind, we require all coaches booking onto our CPD workshops (face to face or online) to hold an in date FA Safeguarding Children certificate prior to attending.
If you do not hold this certificate, please complete the FA Safeguarding Children course. If your certificate is out of date or due for renewal you can Re-Certificate for FREE - FA Safeguarding Children Recertification course.
Qualifications will be checked.
In addition and as best practice we recommend that coaches complete the FA's Safeguarding For All course - which is also FREE to complete.
