Course Information:
Minimum Age: 16
Course Duration: 3 days (face-to-face sessions) + 1 in-situ (club visit) from Course Tutor
Assessment: Formative Assessment - Portfolio & 1 in-situ visit
Course Pre-requisites to registration and certification:
Prior to registration for the qualification, learners are required to:
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Have attended The FA Level 1 in Coaching Football course, and hold the 1st4sport Level 1 Award in Coaching Football qualification
- Have completed The FA Level 2 (Block 1) 'How We Coach' OR The FA Youth Award Module 1
- Have completed The FA Level 2 (Block 2) 'How We Support & The Future Player' OR The FA Youth Award Module 2
Prior to certification for the qualification, learners are required to:
- Hold as a minimum a current FA Introduction to First Aid in Football / Emergency Aid Certificate
- Hold a current completion certificate for The FA Safeguarding Children in Football Workshop
Course aims and objectives:
This nationally recognised qualification, awarded by 1st4sport Qualifications will allow the learner to go on a journey through the 'How We Play' block of the FA Level 2 in Coaching Football.
Block 3 will cover the following areas; In Possession/ Out of Possession/ Transition/ Goalkeeping.

*To qualify for the Charter Standard Club Fee, you must be a current member of a FA Charter Standard Club. If you are unsure as to whether your club currently has Charter Standard status, please contact either your Club Secretary or the Essex County FA.
Please be advised that a £20 FA bursary has been allocated against the cost of this coaching course, and prices will be subject to change once the bursary has ended.
