This workshop aims to support coaches to help them better understand the technical demands of goalkeeping, covering areas such as handling, saves and distribution.


Who is it for?

Coaches who are looking at developing their ability to support the technical development of their goalkeepers.


What to expect

  • Discussions and demonstration of key goalkeeping techniques.
  • Practical delivery highlighting different ways to incorporate these techniques into a practice.


Outcomes

  • Be able to understand the technical demands of a goalkeeper.
  • Be able to intervene and support goalkeepers with simple interventions.
  • Be able to recognise ways to incorporate the above into a practice.
