Workshop Overview

Every player (and person) hold their own unique characteristics, mannerisms and ability levels. No player ever enters an environment as a blank slate and, whether we are aware or not, the way they act is a consequence of their own experiences and genetics up to this point. This workshop aims to support coaches in understanding how knowing more about these areas can help us to design effective environments to support the management of this diversity.


Who is it for?

Coaches that want to build confidence in designing environments to support a wide range of player abilities.


What to expect

  • Theoretical and practical delivery around managing difference.

Outcomes

  • Learn about some of the key variables that can impact on player difference.
  • Recognise when players may require different support.
  • Understand a range of interventions and strategies to design inclusive practices to support this.
