Workshop Overview

Developing players requires a deeper understanding about the whole player, an understanding of learning and how to support it, and an understanding of the game. This workshop looks at how knowing more about these areas can help us to design and implement effective interventions with our players.

Coaches that want to build confidence in their understanding of player development.

  • Theoretical and practical delivery around player development.


Outcomes

  • Learn how to describe the needs of the players using the FA 4-Corner Model.
  • Think critically about the reasons why we do what we do to help our players get better.
  • Understand a range of interventions and strategies to support player development.
