We are delighted to announce that Rob Gawthorpe, goalkeeping coach at Hull City Academy and UEFA B qualified goalkeeping coach will be delivering a Goalkeeping Fundamentals Workshop for coaches who work in the grassroots game.
Rob will guide learners through the fundamentals of goalkeeping whilst showcasing how your side’s goalkeepers can be incorporated into training sessions. Aimed primarily at coaches who work with goalkeepers aged 16 and younger the workshop will give learners the opportunity to ask questions and seek solutions to problems they face when coaching young goalkeepers.
Prior to attending the workshop we advise that all learners complete the online FA’s Online Learning Module titled Goalkeeping Practices in Restricted Areas. To access the online workshop please click here.
