Declaration

The practical aspects of this Devon FA course will involve opposed practices, and games, which by their very nature will include physical contact.  I understand that my participation in all practical aspects of the course is entirely my decision and is based upon my own assessment of my ability to undertake the level of physical activity required.  I understand that the Football Association, Devon FA, its coaching staff, the venues, nor their servants, agents or employees are liable for personal injury, loss or damage whilst in attendance on this course.  I have read and understand the cancellation clause and the conditions below.

Conditions:

  • Charter Standard clubs may apply initially for a MAXIMUM of ONE place on this course and it will be first come, first served .  Places cannot be reserved via the phone, fax or email and only online bookings or signed applications will be accepted.  A second application can be submitted and will be held in reserve in order of receipt in case a vacancy arises.  We want to be fair to as many Charter Standard Clubs as possible and give more clubs the opportunity to take advantage of this free course.  If submitting two applications, please mark order of priority.
  • Whilst the course is free to candidates, we are asking for an upfront booking fee of £50 per application.  This will be refunded by BACS upon completion of the course.  This is to demonstrate a commitment on the part of the club to ensure the person attends the course.
In the past people have not turned up for induction and this is a place lost to others.
  • If the person cancels their place outside the 2 week cancellation period, then the amount will be refunded.  However, if the person cancels within the 2 week period or doesn’t turn up for induction/withdraws part way through the course then the £50 booking fee will NOT be refunded.
  • Clubs cancelling a place will not be able to automatically substitute for another person.   The place will be offered to the application at the top of the waiting list.  Clubs may however submit another application to be placed on the waiting list and the £50 already paid will be transferred to the new application.
  • For those clubs who submit second applications and do not get a place on the course, the £50 fee will be refunded by BACS as soon after the start of the course as possible.
