CPD Event for Level 2 & 3 Coaches

The England DNA is the playing and coaching philosophy of the England teams and consists of 5 core elements:

  • How we Coach

  • How we Play

  • The Future Player

  • How we Support

  • Who we are

This CPD event will focus on HOW WE PLAY with more specific detail around In Possession. The In Possession model has 4 key components:

In possession

  • Retaining & Building

  • Progressing & Penetrating

  • Counter Attack

  • Creating & Scoring

To delve into even finer detail around In possession the theme of the event will be:

Progressing & Penetrating

Consider this… We’ve retained possession and built an attack from the defensive unit of the team…. We will now explore the technical and tactical corner with a focus on how we progressing into the oppositions half of the pitch and ways we can exploit the opposition with penetrating passing, dribbles and movement.
