Have you ever wondered how to attract more volunteers and younger volunteers to you club?! Would you like to ask them directly?!

The Amateur Football Alliance, London FA and Middlesex FA are hosting a volunteer workshop, bringing together expert volunteer organisations and members of their youth council to speak about volunteering and to answer all clubs questions.

The volunteer workforce is vital for a lot of grassroots football and is the foundation in the day to day running of many Clubs and Leagues throughout London.

Whilst there are many volunteers out there, often clubs do not know where to look or have the means to recruit new volunteers.

This workshop will offer member clubs advice on how to:

• How to attract new volunteers
• How to recruit volunteers in a safe way
• What motivates volunteers?
• How to assess volunteers skills and experience
• How to develop and retain volunteers
• How to recognise your volunteers

This workshop will take place on Tuesday 3rd November, 7-9pm at MSE Meeting Rooms,103a Oxford Street, London W1D 2HG.

London Sport and The Join in Trust will discuss ideas on how clubs can further access volunteers and what opportunities are already out there in a wider sporting network.

The Youth Councils from each County FA will also be present on the evening to discuss their role in volunteering and how to engage the younger generation.

The workshop is open to all AFA, London FA and Middlesex FA affiliated clubs.

There is no cost to attend this workshop.
