Course Dates and Further Information

Modules 1,2 and 3 of this course will take place over a Tuesday evening, the following two Sundays (all day) and a further Tuesday evening as follows:

Tuesday 12th October,  7.00 pm to 9.30 pm
Sunday 17th October, 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Sunday 24th October,  9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Tuesday 26th October, 7.00 pm to 9.30 pm

The venue is Carshalton Football Club in Wallington, Surrey.  The football club has parking spaces available.  To access the car park and clubhouse, when you reach the bottom of Church Road, veer to the right at the lodge house.  Carry on over the bridge and turn to the left.  The car park and clubhouse are behind the Animal Hospital (go round the left of the Animal Hospital building)

The nearest mainline railway stations are Hackbridge (15 minute walk through the park) and Wallington (30 minute walk away).  Trains run to both Hackbridge and Wallington from Victoria mainline station.  There are also trains to Hackbridge from Blackfriars station and to Wallington from London Bridge station.

Also buses 403, 403a, 403b, 408 and 470 from Wallington or West Croydon stations
serve Beddington Park.

The course includes practical outdoor demonstrations which will take place on the Club playing field.

The examinations will be held on the second Tuesday.  Once through the examinations candidates go on to Module 4 - completing their initial six 11-a-side matches.  We arrange for each candidate to have a mentor at this stage - an experienced referee who can provide advice and support.  There is no deadline within which the 6 matches have to be completed.

Once the 6 matches are completed candidates attend a module 5 session when they receive their certificates.  Dates have not yet been set for module 5 meetings - they will be arranged as and when candidates are ready to receive their certificates as qualified level 7 or level 8 (under 16) referees.

Please note that course fees are not refundable once a booking is made.

If you would like more information before making a booking please email:
[email protected] or telephone 020 8733 2613 (Option 3).
