Course Dates and Further Information

Modules 1,2,3 and 4 of this course will take place over two Thursday evenings and two Saturdays which extend partly over the the half term week in February as follows:

Thursday 11th February,  7.00 pm to 9.00 pm
Saturday 13th February, 9.00 am to 4.00 pm
Thursday 18th February,  7.00 pm to 9.00 pm
Saturday 20th February, 9.00 am to 4.00 pm

The venue is in part of the new changing accommodation complex at Wanstead Flats Playing Fields where The AFA, Essex FA, London FA and The City of London have established a Referees School.

The examinations will be held on the second Saturday.  Once through the examinations candidates go on to complete their initial six 11-a-side matches.  Plenty of matches will be available to provide refereeing opportunities at Wanstead Flats so finding games will not be a problem.  Also, we arrange for each candidate to have a mentor at this stage - an experienced referee who can provide advice and support.  There is no deadline within which the 6 matches have to be completed.

Once the 6 matches are completed candidates attend a module 5 session when they receive their certificates.  Dates have not yet been set for module 5 meetings - they will be arranged as and when candidates are ready to receive their certificates as qualified level 7 or level 8 (under 16) referees.

This course is being run in partnership with The City of London.

Please note that course fees are not refundable once a booking is made.

If you would like more information before making a booking please email:
