Managing Match-Day Behaviours

We have a valuable and free CPD Workshop ahead of the start of the 2026-2027 season - Managing Match-Day Behaviours


This workshop will highlight the different behaviours players and coaches may experience in a game day setting and set out a number of strategies to combat difficult or unhelpful behaviours for both the player and the coach.

This workshops will entail the following: 

• Psychological and Social aspects which impact match-day behaviours

• Recognising Coach behaviours within the game and whether they have a positive or negative effect on performance

• Strategies to use when faced with a variety of behaviours on match-day.

There will be some practical, if you do not wish to participate please let the tutor know on arrival. The surface is a 3G so appropriate boots will be required for the outdoor element - the guide will be sent out prior - we do have a small number of boots that can be borrowed.
