Introduction to Coaching Football


We have an exciting CPD opportunity for the start of the new 2026-2027 season -  Introduction to Coaching Football.


This workshop is a must for all new Coaches and ideal for anyone who wishes to understand some of the brilliant basics to Coaching a Football session. 


This workshops will entail the following: 

• Exploring strategies to keep players engaged throughout a session.

• Understanding the Practice Spectrum and how to progress sessions utilising the STEP Principle. 

• Observing an FA Coach Developer deliver a session live to a group of players.

There will be some practical, if you do not wish to participate please let the tutor know on arrival. The surface is a 3G so appropriate boots will be required for the outdoor element - the guide will be sent out prior - we do have a small number of boots that can be borrowed.
