Description:

This workshop is designed to support coaches working with grassroots players in the 12-16 youth development phase.  The course will explore the world of the modern teenager, what impact this has on football sessions, before demonstrating some practices to meet those needs.

 Who is it for?

- Club Coaches currently working with teenagers who seek new ideas.

- Club Coaches working with children who wish to up-skill themselves to prepare for coaching teenagers

- Football Mash Up Coordinators & Activators as part of CPD offer.

 

What will you learn?

- Develop an understanding of the modern teenager.

- Coaching practices that engage and develop players in accordance with 4 Corner model, with a focus on the social & psychological corner.

- How to develop an environment to provide ownership and empowerment for teenagers.
