Delivered by: Bradford City FC Academy Staff

Bradford City’s Academy has made great strides in working together with local junior clubs and will continue to evolve and develop this partnership. As an academy, the club are looking to support clubs in return for them supporting ourselves in the identification and recruitment of players. This CPD event will showcase what happens at the different stages of the recruitment process, how local clubs can support the academy but also, crucially, how the academy can support your club.

On the night, coaches will hear from Academy Manager Alan Nevison, Head of Coaching Steve Thornber and Lead Foundation Phase Coach Lewis Nightingale in a mixture of theory and practical settings.

Agenda
5.30pm: Arrival and report to the main reception to register
6.00pm: The Bradford Football Community – Working Together (indoor)
6.30pm: Practical observation - seeing the academy coaches and players in action (outdoor)
7.30pm: Debrief, Q&A and reflections (indoor)
8.00pm: Depart

Refreshments: Teas and coffees will be available throughout the event

Dress Code: There is no dress code for the evening so club tracksuits, jeans etc are perfectly acceptable

Car parking: Parking is available on site, however this is a training night for the academy so attendees are asked to park safely and considerately to allow parents, players and coaches to access their training.

Additional Information: Please note, the postcode takes you to the school’s main entrance, however the entrance you need to take is for Rawdon Meadows Playing Fields, where the grass pitches are. Upon entering the driveway, follow the road to go past the main building on your left and park in any available space.

If you like this event but can't make it, the club are running their own CPD programme throughout the year which can be viewed by clicking here. Please note, only the session on 12th December 2016 is CPD accredited and West Riding County FA take no responsibility for other events hosted solely by Bradford City FC.
