This CPD session will offer an insight into the game of Powerchair football. Coaches will be able to interact with Powerchair football coaches and players and learn the techniques of the game. This will include, passing, shooting, defending, dribbling, ball control and match play.
The session will start at 6.30pm with a demonstration of the game for visiting coaches to observe and build a range of questions regarding the game and techniques required to play the game. The remainder of the session will be broken down into 4 sections running concurrent showing the different techniques and skills, how players learn and how coaches need to adapt to meet the players' needs. The practical sessions will run until 8.30pm when a Q&A session will be held plus if time allows a chance for coaches to have a go!
