Surrey FA CPD: Unlocking the Potential of a Games Generation
Surrey FA are pleased to announce our latest CPD Event: Unlocking the Potential of a Games Generation.
7th March 2018
7-10pm
Recent work on the Foundation Phase FA England DNA recognises the digital lives of kids today and that coaches are working with a games generation. How will coaches learn from video game design to help today’s young children to fall in love with sport, and football?
The event shall cover the research of FA Tutor Amy Price into recognising the digital lives of kids today and how coaches can utilise video game design to inspire practices for the 'Games Generation'. Amy has completed extensive research in this area and is looking forward to sharing this with coaches through both practical and discussion based sessions.
Additionally we will be joined by Andy Muir, CEO of Coach Logic.
Andy is a former Sports Coaching lecturer with a passion for helping coaches build environments that accelerate player development. Coach Logic is a collaborative video analysis platform that focuses on enriching the learning experience for players and coaches. In his session, Andy will discuss some simple and effective ways to engage your squads in learning that will help to build a strong team environment and improve performance.
