This course is aimed at club groundsmen who want to update their knowledge, volunteer groundsmen without professional qualifications or other club personnel who want to expand their knowledge in this area.
The day will cover the following;
Winter Pitch Maintenance Course 31/10/13
10:00 – 10:30 – Types of markers advantages and disadvantages.
10:30 – 11:30 – Measure and marking out.
11:30 – 12:30 and 13:15 – 14:00 – Ride on and Pedestrian cylinder mower setup and operation.
14:00 – 15:30 – Aeration, Forking and Repairing divots.
15:30 – 16:00 – Pest and Disease Identification and Control
Attendees will need to bring safety boots and suitable clothing for practical activities.
