Coaches' CPD - How Futsal Can Develop Players in Grassroots Clubs
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and despite recent national restriction easing, you are required to take a Covid lateral flow test in order to be able to attend the workshop. Please note that failure to follow the guidance and/or take the appropriate action will result in you being refused access to the workshop – a member of Surrey FA staff will be at the entrance to check all lateral flow tests have been completed.
Coaches must attend with proof of a negative lateral flow test, registered via the NHS COVID-19 app and/or NHS website that shows proof of the negative test. Overview of the event
Join Mark Simmons, FA Affiliate Tutor and former England Futsal International for a CPD workshop which will specifically focus on how futsal can be integrated into grassroots football. Coaches can expect to take away knowledge of how and when to use futsal, an understanding of the benefits and returns of futsal linked to football, and how to prepare your team to play futsal tournaments.
Please note: this session is only open to those aged 16 and over.
