1v1 Domination - Developing Game-Changers

CPD Event: 1v1 Domination – Developing Game-Changers
Hosted by Ipswich Town Academy

We are pleased to invite grassroots coaches to a unique CPD opportunity delivered by the Ipswich Town Academy.

This session will provide an in-depth look at our 1v1 Domination curriculum – a key pillar of our player development philosophy at Ipswich Town. Coaches will gain valuable insights into how we design and deliver sessions that develop confident, creative players capable of winning individual battles across the pitch.

The CPD will cover:

  • The importance of 1v1 ability in the modern game
  • Key technical and tactical components of 1v1 play
  • How we structure our sessions to challenge and inspire players
  • Live demonstrations with academy players

Whether you're working with foundation phase or youth development players, this CPD is designed to provide actionable ideas and a deeper understanding of how to develop game-changing individuals through 1v1-focused coaching.

We ask for details of ethnicity and disability for equal opportunities monitoring purposes. Monitoring is recommended by the codes of practice published by the Equality and Human Rights Commission to eliminate discrimination and promote equality. This is extremely helpful and enables us to keep confidential and anonymous records of the people who officiate in our national sport. By doing this we can spot any inequalities and work with local communities to encourage more people to Get into Football. However, we totally respect your privacy and whilst it would be really helpful if you completed this section, it is not compulsory.
