Welcome to Suffolk FA's Silent Weekend 2017/18 - Creating a Positive Playing Environment For All!

Here, you will be able to sign up your teams for the weekend. Club secretaries can also enroll their entire club, should they wish.

What is the Silent Weekend?

The Silent Weekend encourages coaches and parents to create a positive playing environment for the players, allowing them to play and make decisions and come to conclusions of their own accord. 

Am I expected to stay totally silent?

Parents and coaches are not expected to stay totally 'silent', however instruction to players is strongly discouraged. Applauding each team and rewarding good play are encouraged.

Great! How do I sign up!?
You can sign up using your FAN and Password below, just like you would for any Suffolk FA Course. Once this is complete you will receive a confirmation email.

I'm a Club Secretary and want to sign up all my home clubs, can I do that?
Yes, you can! Simply add 'all home' into the Age Group category on the form.

What if I sign up and the away team doesn't?
Suffolk FA staff will be designated clubs/zones to visit, before this visit the staff member will call you to make sure you are happy with the weekend as well as agree a meeting time/place. They will also ask for who you are playing and their contact details. They will then contact the away team and ask if they are signed up, if not they will be encouraged to do so, or encouraged to take part in the Silent Weekend on the day. The staff will be there to support you should any matters arise.
