England DNA and its role in Grassroots

This 3 hour workshop attempts to introduce the new England DNA and Coaching/Playing Philosophy and what this means to the grassroots game. The workshop is a mixture of theory and practical based sessions behind the ‘How we Play’ element of the England DNA, which fully incorporates:

  • In Possession
  • Out of Possession
  • Transition
  • Formation

The evening will focus on the aspect of ‘Transition’ with background detail in the classroom, before bringing this to life on the pitch through practical delivery, by the FA’s Regional Coach Development Managers for the West Midlands, Richard Cooper and Chris Dowhan.

This event will count as 3 hours CPD for those coaches who are level 1 and level 2.
