Football Futures Camp – Start your pathway to a future sporting career!
Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA Youth Council (SHFAYC) is holding its fourth annual Football Futures Camp to provide advice and information about the football industry to young people in the local area and this year it promises to be bigger and better!
The 2018 camp will take place over three days and has been organised by our volunteer Youth Council.
The cost to attend this year is £5 per person per day, however if you attend 1 day you get 1 free, 2 days =£5, 3 days = £10.
Day 1 - 26th March open to all - Thomas Rotherham College 9:30am-3:30pm
Please NOTE Day 2 and day 3 have been cancelled
The camp is available to people aged 13-18 and will focus on four key areas from the world of Football including a number of guest speakers and FA delivery.
The camp uses football as the theme, but all the content can be transferred across a range of sports and would be ideal for any young person starting to think about a career in sports development. Our key speakers will present certificates to all at the end of each day.
Jade Elson, CFA Football Development Officer stated: “Football Futures Camps are a great first introduction to sports development and the different avenues young people can take in their future working in football and sport, this year we have increased the camp into three days and are really excited to offer a female only session to engage girls in the events.”
The cost of the camp is value for money at just £5 per day (all sessions will be interactive) and will include goodies and resources from the sessions.
