Workshop Content:
- Classroom workshop & practical observation.
- This session will shine a light on how the additional 2 players will impact the how and what you coach. We will look at styles of play linked to coaching and playing philosophy and link it to what has gone before as the players have developed from 7 v 7 through 9 v 9 and then onto 11 v 11. For those still working in the 9 v 9 format, we will look at what can be done now to prepare for the transition moment in terms of your team shape and your style of play. We will generate discussion points with coaches around squad size and the impact on preparing for 11 v 11 and in developing game related practice to help with this challenge.
- Chance to meet like-minded coaches and share your experiences and ideas
- Although the session is specifically aimed around youth football we will also try to accommodate for any adult coaches that want to attend. Simply identify what age-group you coach when registering so we can make the tutor aware
- We will have a local side taking part in the practical so you are able to focus on the coaching points being demonstrated by Mark & ask any questions that you might have throughout the practical
What you will Need:
- Note taking materials (Recommended)
- Suitable clothing/footwear for classroom session and outside observation on 3G.
