at North Riding FA HQ, Broughton Road, Stokesley, TS9 5NY

Wednesday 11th September - 5pm – 8pm
at Scarborough Library, Vernon Road, Scarborough, YO11 2NN

The sessions will be helpful for the following:

· Coaches who require their ID documents verifying to complete their check

· Coaches who require a check but do not have access to a computer to complete one at home

· Club Welfare Officers who require their documents checking

· Club Welfare Officers who have questions on the DBS process

· Clubs who need up to date checks for their Charter Standard Health Checks

Anyone who attends and needs their documents checking will need to bring along the Identification specified on their form – typically these are Passports, Driving License (photo + counterpart), Birth Certificate, Utility Bill, Bank Statement. Should you have any questions about the documents required please get in touch.

Online DBS checks are charged at £10. Please bring this with you on the evening. All card payments will incur a £1 processing fee.

Anyone who has not yet completed a form can do so by downloading the attachment below and following the instructions.

There is no need to book an appointment, anyone can attend who requires a check. In order to gauge rough numbers if you could drop me a line with how many people you may be sending that will help ensure that we have enough staff to cover the evening.

Please forward this to anyone you feel may require an up to date check.

If you have any questions before the sessions please get in touch. If not I look forward to seeing you there.

Please note that paper DBS applications will be priced at £20 from 1st June 2013. Online applications will remain at £10. All Coaches, CWO and Volunteers who have contact with children must have a valid FA DBS. FA guidelines state that all checks must be renewed every 3 years. North Riding County FA will be monitoring this over the coming season in order to ensure that all clubs are fully compliant from the start of season 2013/2014.

Please note to access this online application, you will need a FAN (FA Number).

If have ever been involved in football or taken an FA Qualification, it is highly likely you already have a FAN. If you do not know your FAN or password, or need to create a FAN, please use our FAN FINDER tool by clicking to register/retrieve your details.

Please be aware that if you already have a FAN, and create another FAN, this could cause delays in being confirmed on the course and any qualifications being awarded.

If the FAN Finder says you haven't got a FAN, and you think you have, then please click here for a full guide on how to locate it.
