2011 / 2012 Youth Futsal Leagues

Futsal is the 5-a-side game the world’s most skilful players attribute their technical ability to by playing as youngsters - Surprisingly the Spanish and Brazilians aren’t bad at playing the game! It’s a great tool to improve player’s movement, close control and tactical awareness and therefore Northamptonshire FA are advocating that by running leagues for U9’s – U16’s boy’s players during the 2011 / 2012 season.

Added to these benefits the competition will also see the winning teams progressing to FA Regional finals of the FA Youth Futsal Cup.

Maybe you could use futsal to complement your current training sessions? Or solely for winter training instead of those cold nights on astro-turf pitches when it’s -1 on a January evening?
