Manchester FA are holding a CPD event for Club & League welfare officers to update them on the new Safeguarding Operating Standards.

Lauren McCorry, Manchester FA's new Designated Safeguarding Officer has been in post since September and is keen to ensure that she has the opportunity to meet all club and league welfare officers. Her remit is to ensure that Safeguarding is at the heart of everything that we do as a County FA and everything Welfare Officers do within grassroots. This will be achieved by implementing a set of Safeguarding Operating Standards.

With this in mind Manchester FA would like to invite you into our headquarters at Platt Lane so Lauren can introduce herself in person where it would be a good opportunity to provide you with an update on the safeguarding operating standards.

This evening will be a great opportunity for continuous personal development and where information can be provided to help you with implementing a high standard of Safeguarding.

The event details are below:

Venue: Manchester FA – Platt Lane Complex, Yew Tree Road, Fallowfield, M14 7UU

Date: Thursday 14th December
