From the 1st August 2017, Manchester FA will again host the FA Level 3 ‘UEFA ‘B’ in Coaching Football qualification

FA Education will use from January – May 2017, to pilot the ‘new format’ of the UEFA ‘B’ course, and will then review the course feedback, prior to the County FA’s starting to deliver regionally

Below, is the UEFA B format that will be used during the pilot stage, however the content and length of blocks could change at the review stage.

At present, it is expected that the course will be made up of four delivery Blocks of two days and three in-situ visits. FAE will use the eight courses run between January and May 2017 to collate feedback from learners and tutors to establish the next model of delivery and assessment for this qualification from August 2017.

Within each Block of delivery, workshops will be 3.5 hours in duration, with a blend of theory and practical, consistent with the new Level 1 and 2 delivery models.

Block 1 will largely be a refreshed and improved version of the existing YAM 3.

The first in-situ visit will be used to complete the FA Youth Award. This is a pre-requisite to register/attend Blocks 2-4 of the new FA Level 3 (UEFA B) at Block 2.

Any FA Youth Award holder will receive Recognition of Prior Learning against Block 1 and the first in-situ visit, and would therefore be able to enter the FA Level 3 (UEFA B) at Block 2.
