How We Coach: Futsal
We are delighted to welcome the Head Coach of the Women’s Deaf Futsal team, Sally Needham to deliver Manchester’s next CPD event on Tuesday 6th December 6:00-9:00pm.
The event will showcase the 5-a-side format of football which has in recent years become a huge part of football in England.
Sally, also County Coach Developer for Derbyshire will deliver a mix of practical and theoretical content to provide coaches with a better understanding of what Futsal is and how it can be used to develop players.
Key outcomes of the workshop will include:
- Where the game has come from and who plays it
- Introduction to the basic rules
- What the game of Futsal looks like
- Practical ideas that can be used to aid the development of players
- How Futsal links to the England DNA
*Please note, the practical element of the event will require coaches to be involved so please bring relevant kit’.
