Are you a parent who has just taken on your son or daughters football team? Or maybe you’re a young leader who has just started volunteering with their local club? This workshop will give you some top tips on how to get yourself off to the best possible start with your new team.
Some of the tips Include;
1) How to set a positive environment which will enable your players to enjoy and develop under your supervision
2) How to organise the team – what issues you might face when organising your team at the weekend, and how you can overcome them
3) Involving and managing parents
4) Dealing with expectations from the players, club and/or parents
5) Practice/game ideas that you can use in your training sessions
6) Where to go next for support?
